Taconic 6145-02 is a pressure sensitive tape made of FEP (Teflon®) film that is coated with a high temperature silicone adhesive with a release liner. The FEP film is optically clear and offers excellent electrical properties and chemical resistance. This tape is used primarily in electrical applications including capacitor insulation and cable termination insulation. Being optically clear and chemically resistant, it is used as protective overlay for cables and harnesses. The product is clear making it an excellent colour code beneath the wraps visible.
